Russia invades Ukraine and all the stock markets continues downwards. So do my selected stocks as well. With one exception, and the rest of them are still well above the T-line. The trend in my selected stocks isn’t breaking, there’s only a bump in the road. Let’s see how they play out.

Giving it another go this week. The American stock market is plummeting, but I still think that there are gems to be found. You just have to look in the right place. I read a lot of blogs this weekend, and I got a daily video from Hubert Senters. He says it’s not sexy, but it’s working. I looked at the excellent video, and realized that I’m picking the stocks in the exact same way. I was really surprised, maybe more glad than surprised. Let’s hope I’m on to something this week. I just read that Macron and Putin will sit down and have a chat with Ukraine and OSSE about a peaceful solution of the mess Putin has created. I hope Macron will not wave a treaty of no value at all like Chamberlain did. Let’s hope for the best. Let’s see how these play out this week.

The stock market isn’t volatile. It’s a slippery slope, and I’m trying to cling on to something. To anything actually. For further analysis go to Weekly Results page.

The market is highly volatile, and went down yesterday again after a day of all green. Most of my selected stocks could stand their ground pretty well and closed above the T-line, even if in red. I selected 2 stocks that was a mistake: OSH and VITL. I will analyze them thoroughly and try to find what went wrong. I took a first step today and added one more step to my selection protocol. Let’s see if this can help me increasing the probability of selecting stocks that will increase in value.

All the major index recovered yesterday and are all in green. The same goes for my own StockMine index, the index showing the development of my selected stocks. OSH made a fine recovery and went up +7.40%. Unfortunately it still have a bit to climb, it’s still in red. Maybe there was a relief that some of the Russian started to turn back from their attacking positions to their home base. I don’t know. But I hope that the reason for the upwards trend will hold.

I cling to my educational purposes only. On the upside I actually managed to find a green stock yesterday. OSH on the other hand fell like a stone. Everybody is nervous about the Russian aggression, which is understandable. I really shouldn’t do this now. All the major indexes are red. But the Nasdaq is 0.00. I picked 2 stocks from Nasdaq that looks promising under other circumstances. Let’s see how they play out. As soon as all the indexes are green and the market is in an upward trend, I will buy my first stock. This is a short market now, not a long market. Maybe I will short stocks when I’m more experienced.
