It seems that trading against the trend isn’t such a good idea after all. Man, that was a real horror show the last weeks. The market correction after all the sweet years finally caught up with us. It will probably be a bumpy road ahead, but the Fed will not discuss the interest rates until March. Until then maybe we will have a breather to make some money. The trend seems to slow down, and maybe even turning. Looking at the MACD for the big indexes there are proof to be found.

I’ve ran out of red and I have to go to the paint-shop to see if they have some more. I will probably be able to get some green paint at discount. Now I know how Ellen Ripley felt aboard the USCSS Nostromo. This is a really hostile environment, the north American stock market. Still, I looked through the previous results for this week, and realized that there still is hope. I will analyze the numbers this weekend and give it another go next week. Besides that I will soon also use order flow analysis to check for profitable stock trades.

I have to automate the updates. It takes forever to update it manually. Still a lot of red, but only a few wrong choices. A few reds that still closes above the trend line. This means that they are still moving upward, but with a temporary setback. I will add more info over the choices and development after I fixed the automation.

Another day, another try. I will go on until I can’t do it wrong. The market is like going to a cemetery. Hanging heads everywhere. But I made another go at it my screeners and I found a lot a potential candidates. A lot of fireflies swirling around just waiting for me to find them. I simply don’t believe that everything is bad. The 5% a week is there to be found. Just picking the low hanging fruits.
